I still have a large amount of 4-ply wool from the days when I did a lot of machine knitting ( I may well pick that up again at some point) - so to give myself something to do when on holiday and stuck inside on wet or cold days
I began my 'granny squares' blanket. I kept to a strict colour range and completed 200 blocks before joining them all together on the last round. I am pleased with how it looks as I spent quite a bit of time laying out the blocks so that I didn't have any too similar next to each other! Another project to tick off 'my must make one of those' list!
