Well it didn't take me long to finish sewing the posy blocks. I was sorry when I had finished as it had been so interesting turning the squares to decide on the best layout. After lunch I went into my craft room to tackle the huge backlog of ironing......but kept looking at the blocks on the wall and moving them about. Needless to say the ironing never got done, and I am still messing about swapping blocks every time I go into the room. I am still unsure of how to join the blocks together. I think the green frame I tried (you can see it at the top of the panel) is too obvious. I need to border each block with about an inch of fabric so that the blocks fit around the central panel. I think black might be a better choice. No opportunity to craft tomorrow, so will have to wait until Friday to experiment some more.
