Today I was eager to continue sewing together the four patch posies. I have to say that I am thrilled with how they are turning out. So much fun turning and arranging them in the four possible positions and then deciding which layout to go for. Some of the blocks are a little plain, with a lot of black and not much pattern. It is a good job I will have more than enough to discard these ( well perhaps use them elsewhere). I have placed the blocks around the central panel but in no particular order. I still have a few more to sew together, then the fun of re-arranging to my satisfaction will take place. My design wall is almost to the ceiling - so it is a bit of a stretch putting up the ones near the top, so I am not looking forward to keep moving around those! Good exercise I expect. You can see the one block that I have added a border to......but I am still not sure what to do. I am going to join a local quilting group next week that meets twice a month. I may well seek advice/opinions from its members before coming to a final decision.
