Bought wadding

Today I went as planned to Empress Mills to buy my wadding and some quilting cotton.  The motorway was slow due to roadworks, and seeing huge queues building up for the return we (hubby was driving) decided to go back home another way and take in some countryside views.  So the morning was gone before I knew it!
I do not have the luxury of a long arm quilting machine, nor a large work table, so my solution is to use my worktop space, pinning as I smooth the layers.  My days of crawling around on the floor are long gone!  The three layers of backing, wadding and top are folded concertina style on the floor and I gradually roll up the pinned part on the worktop as I go.  The long length of plastic pipe has marker tape to help me keep the quilt top even as I work along.  I managed to get about half way before deciding that I had done enough for the day.
