Well I suppose you could say I had a productive session today. I finished quilting the border sections and cut and joined my binding. After trimming the edge I sewed on the binding. Now all I have to do is finish hand sewing it. I actually like hand sewing the binding and find it quite relaxing - far more relaxing than doing the quilting which I found very hard work. I had forgotten that I can set the speed of my machine, so today I forced it to sew at a slower speed than I would normally use. This forced me to slow down and be more careful - so a better result. You can see my wobbly quilting lines that no doubt would have been better if I had sewn them yesterday on a slower speed. I smoothed the quilt out on the spare bed and it didn't look too bad. I would still like a long arm quilting machine, but cannot justify the cost and by saying I wouldn't have room for one anyway makes me feel better :-)
