I continued pinning the layers of the first single quilt top this morning only to find that my backing material wasn't long enough. Turns out that I used the wrong set of sheets - so had to start all over again with the right one! So today I haven't got as far as I would have liked. I spent quite a while moving things around in my craft room to give me more space for when I started quilting. My machine doesn't have a large throat, so it is quite a struggle moving the fabric through when I get towards the middle. I also deliberated quite a while trying to decide how to quilt this top. In the end I decided to do rows of wavy lines that will cross each other at the point where four blocks meet.
