I was given a festive toilet roll and decided I would put it in the downstairs loo for guests to use on Christmas Day! So I knew I would need to have a guest towel along a similar theme. The easiest solution I thought would be to buy one.....could I find one?? No! So out came an old white hand towel that had been languishing in the cupboard, a quick practice on the sewing machine to work out a suitable pattern, and hey presto! I couched some stranded embroidery thread along the border edge to make the otherwise fine machine stitching stand out. It will do.
