I began this quilt last year - finishing the top before Christmas - but have only just got round to setting up my quilting frame and completing it. The backing fabric and most of the scraps for the top were from my quilting group stash and I think it will be fine for a young lad. I had obviously not done any quilting for a while, and although I remembered how to set up my quilting frame I did encounter a slight problem. I forgot to put in a new bottom bobbin, and so ran out part way through a row.....then when I checked the quilt when finished and off the frame, noticed that the first row with the new bobbin was not good......in fact it was terrible. So I undid the row, and put the quilt back onto the frame even though it was already 'quilted'. I just attached the top and bottom edges to two of the rollers and it quilted fine.
