Monday Mystery Link Up Number 1

Last year was my first mystery quilt.  I absolutely loved gathering the material and taking part each week - but somewhere along the line I decided I didn't like my quilt.  Not sure what it was as Bonnie's finished quilt looked amazing. I think one of my yellows was too strong and looks odd!  I have the quilt top on my frame ready for quilting so perhaps I will view the finished quilt differently.

I just couldn't justify the cost of doing another large quilt and buying lots of material to match this years colours so I looked at what colours I had the most of in my stash ( I am still fairly new to quilting so I don't have a huge selection of 'scraps' to select from). A previous post gives more details.  Here are my results for clue No.1.  I have only made 5......I plan a small quilt, so will make more when I know exactly how many I will need.  As you can see I have substituted dark purple for brown and I am not very scrappy!
