365 Challenge - November

I can't quite believe how much I am enjoying this challenge.  The photo doesn't do the actual blocks justice so may take some more later.  These are all the 3" squares for the month.  Some were a pig to do and there is one I may have to re-do as it finished just short of the 3.5" needed along one edge.  For those who started this quilt along in January they have no more of these small blocks to do....I obviously still have many many more ahead of me!
As the blocks are released at midnight in Australia it is 2pm here in the UK....so I eagerly await the email link in my in box and head over to the site to check out the new block.  I then cut all the pieces, but don't start the block until the next day as then theoretically I am doing it on the day prescribed.  The block on the far right is called 'Blind Mans Fancy" and judging how it turned out I must have had eyesight difficulties myself!  It was a horror to do and I am sure I will have to re-do it unless there are bonus blocks.  I like the idea of it, but all those points along the edge....what a nightmare!
It is odd doing these larger blocks after having spent so long doing the fiddly 3" ones...some of these were quite quick to do and I then slightly disappointed that I couldn't do another until next day.  I love the block in the picture above (bottom left) its called Star and Cross. The one above it is called Airport and I gave up on that.  It should have had squares in the corners but I just could not get them right....so ended up just putting triangles across....so this is another block I may not use.  At this rate there will need to be plenty of bonus ones available.  Well there were two this month so that is good.  Tomorrow being 1st of December will no doubt be the final corner block...all 12" of it.  I am dreading it as the others were so hard to get everything lined up.
