Christmas Card Challenge

Rather than recycle this years Christmas Cards to the paper bin, I thought I would give myself a challenge.  Each week I would select a used card and make as many new Christmas cards out of it as I could.  Hopefully by Christmas 2019 I would have enough to send out without having to buy any!  The two on the left were quick and easy to do - just cut the front of the card up into 1" strips and arrange on a folded piece of A5 card, leaving a small gap between each strip.  I will print out inserts for these cards - no need then to sign them by hand!!

The card on the right took a little more thought.  There are 3 small squares cut out of the front - and these are then placed on the inside of the card.  I added a pencil line along the fold side and bottom of the card and hand wrote the 'Merry Christmas'.  For a laugh I might send this card to the person who sent it to me......I might make some special stickers to put on the back of each card to say that they had been recycled - with love.  So I've now completed week 1 & 2 of my challenge.  Only 50 to go!
