These are the blocks for March. As I quickly placed them on the design wall I realised how many were not 'perfect' !! Most will sew in OK but there are a couple that I think are really bad and will need re-doing. I keep a written log of each days block and have put an asterisk against each one that I think I will re-do. The reason I will leave them until last is that I won't know how much material I will have left - there would be nothing worse than find I am short of a specific colour right at the end! I have a huge pile of scraps as the method used is a little wasteful at times so I might be able to jiggle or join if I run out (hopefully I won't). I must admit that I am getting a little 'depressed' with the 3" dark blocks and hope that as we go into April there will be some lighter colours used to lift my mood. I have a lot going on at the moment and I had 'catch up' this week as I was 6 blocks behind. My other craft projects are on hold too as I just can't seem to gather much enthusiasm for some reason. I have been waking up so early in the mornings but now that the clocks have changed perhaps I will get into a better frame of mind.
