I have made quite a bit of progress with my string pieced blocks. The problem now is that I have run out of the longer lengths of my scraps. Tomorrow I will try joining some of the strips together - using a mitred join I think- and see how they look. I will expect to re-arrange the blocks on my design wall as I usually spend ages swapping things around until I am happy with the 'look'. I think I will make enough to finish 5 blocks by 5. So I will have another 8 to make. At least I will have made quite a dent in my scrap strip stash.
