I have finally finished my torchon lace piece. I now need to cut out my kaftan styled top that this has been made for. I have laid the piece out on the linen I will be using but I am not sure how it will work out. The plan is to place it around the neck opening at the front. I may cover the footside edge with ribbon and add some fancy machine stitching over the top to finish it off. I now need to find the pattern again as I have obviously put it somewhere 'safe' as I now can't find it....which is typical. My work room is very small and things get covered up and it is easy to misplace something! I am at my lace group next week, but plan to just practice some new techniques before I start a new project.
