Unlike the many thousands of people who have been making face masks for ages, I have come late to this. I was not going out and as my husband uses masks when he is doing various jobs we actually had a few in the house already that could be used if needed.
My son who has full face protection stuff did ask if I could make him some fabric ones the other day. After a mind boggling foray on the internet I eventually picked a pattern, followed the video and made these using pipe cleaners I found in a box for the nose bridge and made them with a filter pocket should he want to use them. Fortunately I had just enough elastic. When I asked what colour for the fabric I got a "knew you would pressure me on that.....hate making decisions on colour... I dunno....grey?". Good job I had some 'greys' in the stash!
