A new project having seen these slippers online. I fancied having a go, and what fun they turned out to be. I have now made more after the first pair wore out. They keep my feet warm and I now add thick felted wool insoles, and use non slip sole from Joes' Toes.
These on the right were the first pair I made that actually wore out despite being darned lots of times. I decided that I would knit more than one pair and with the felt soles the second pair lasted much longer. I find these are very quick to knit and therefore will no doubt knit some more, perhaps sourcing some wool in much brighter colours.
