Not posted for quite a while

 

I have not posted here for quite a while but that doesn't mean I have not been doing any crafts....far from it as I have been busy doing all sorts of different things.  My daughter challenged me to do a 365 embroidery challenge....and boy what a challenge it was.  I fell behind quite a few times and at one point had a month and a half of catching up to do.  But I did finish it.

There are 366 different embroidered icons, that each represent something that happened or I did on that day.  It is funny but looking back at some of the icons I have a hard time trying to work out either what they actually are, or what it is I did for it to be that icon.  Some are very obvious and the memories they invoke are unforgettable.  

Would I ever do this again....no I wouldn't!

So what else have I done.  I did take up photography and I post one picture a day and take part in challenges and non prize giving competitions that help to improve my skills and open my eyes to new ideas.  I also joined my local photography club and have enjoyed going to club events and the wide variety of speaker's that have shown and talked about their amazing images and techniques.  I have spent a fortune on my new camera and lenses, but don't regret my purchases.
